The Love Story of Rachel + Adam

They are love. The other day I sent Rachel an email telling her that her photos were ready and would be in the mail soon and I was thinking about their wedding day. It was kind of perfect. I wrote to her, “You looked beautiful and it is clear - oh, so clear – that Adam is smitten with you! I hope you two are loving married life.” That kind of sums things up. Enjoy the photos!

Thanks to Katie Whitworth for second shooting with me. She’s swell!

The Love Story of Samantha + Jason, Part 1

I love all of my weddings. I’ve been blessed with very sweet, very creative people, so when we got the Double E Pheasant Ranch in McPherson to shoot Samantha and Jason’s wedding, I was extremely surprised by all of the detail they’d put into their day. Samantha and I have the same shabby chic antiquey taste, so I may have squealed several times as we shot the details of the day! There is so much amazingness that I’ve made this a 2-part blog post. One killer couple, a hilarious bridal party and a beautiful day made this a wedding I won’t forget. Enjoy their story!

Thanks to Katie Whitworth for helping me shoot. Her beautiful photos run through this post (and the one to come!). She’s rad. Be on the lookout for the second part of this epic wedding tomorrow!

This is my bestest, Katie. She is rad.

Sometimes the backdrops at weddings give us a chance to turn the camera on each other. At Jinny and Ryan’s wedding there was a magic field of fog and Samantha and I took turns posing. And at Samantha and Jason’s wedding, there were so many props Katie and I just about lost our minds. We couldn’t help but take a few of ourselves. I snapped these of Katie. She’s so cute.
