What’s your photography style?

I try to capture the happiest and most real moments. My photos are candid and natural and tell a story. For family photos, please check the Investment page to decide which session (candid or traditional) works best for your family.

Where are you based and do you shoot out of state?

I am based in Kansas City, MO. I do travel out-of-state. I flew out to San Diego last year and had a blast! I love to travel.

What is required to book my date?

50% down along with your contract to book the date. The final 50% is due 1 month prior to the wedding date.

For other sessions, the fee is due the day of photos. You can pre-pay if you’d like.

When can we see our photos?

I will have all of your photos edited and uploaded in your online gallery within 8 weeks of the event. I’ll send you a link your online gallery right after they’ve been uploaded. Engagement photos around 1-2 week.

All other photo sessions take around 1-2 weeks to edit and upload.

Do I get a disc of all the high resolution photos?

Yes! All of the wedding packages include a disc of high resolution photos.

I don’t see any formal photos on your website or blog, do you take any family shots at the wedding?

Absolutely! Most people want the formal family shots, but I usually don’t blog them.

Can I upload my wedding photos to Facebook once I get the DVDs?

You betcha! I just ask that you give a photo credit underneath each photo.

What kind of cameras do you have?

 Nikon D300 camera body, 50mm f1.8 and 18-200mm f3.5 lenses. It’s big.

Can I have or see all of the unedited photos you took at our wedding?

Heck no. I don’t release any of the unedited photos. Ever.

How many wedding photos will I get?

You will receive a minimum of 75 photos from your engagement session. You’ll get a minimum of 400 photos from your wedding, but you’ll usually end up with at least 700. I like to take a lot of photos! You’ll see

For all other sessions, you’ll always receive a minimum of 50 photos (depending on what kind of session), but usually not more than 200. Again, it depends on the session you choose.

How many hours do you work on the wedding day?

I work 8-10 hours, depending on which package you choose. I love spending your day with you, but you can only spend so much time getting ready or have so many photos of the same people dancing during the recption.

Do you offer albums?

Oh yes! They take about 2-4 months to complete. You get to choose with photos you’d like to use, I’ll put it together. You’ll get final say. It’s all custom made just for you!

For other sessions, you may also purchase an album. It is an additional price.
